We offer large-scale grants for established open source projects and traditional nonprofits with significant impact. To date, we've given out over $5M in legendary grants. These grants are generally reserved for established entities we trust. We maintain an ongoing relationship with these grantees.

Microgrants
We offer one-time microgrants of $1,000–$5,000 for small or early-stage projects. For smaller projects, these modest amounts can sometimes represent a significant portion of their budget, and we pride ourselves on helping people who are just getting started. Many of our microgrants are unsolicited: Our employees identify projects they personally recommend and we place a donation in FUTO's name.
